11.2021 - Mexico is the country where VW bugs live long! Really long.
Not only did we see hundreds of bugs, or vochos as they are called in Mexico, they were mostly on the road doing their duty as a means of transport. It was so pleasing to see the bug being used for what it was intended for. No show-car or hobby-car.
The state of the cars was horrible and would never have passed the road worthiness test in Europe. But hey, they were on the road and it was such a pleasure to see them. Beaten up but colourful and a pleasure to the eye.
